The Technical Requirements

1. Purchase hook should be manufacturer's certificate of quality and other technical documents before use; Hooks purchased by important departments, such as railway, port, etc., shall be strictly inspected before delivery (flaw detection).

2. The lifting hook shall not have defects that affect the safety performance; The lifting hook defects shall not be repaired by welding; The surface of the hook shall be smooth and free from cracks, folds, sharp angles, burrs, peeling, over-burning and other defects.

3. Two appropriate positions can be selected at the shortest distance of the opening of the hook to print the mark that is not easy to wear and the distance of the mark can be measured as the basis for testing whether the opening degree changes in use.

4. The hook material can be made of 20 high-quality carbon steel or DG20Mn and DG34CrMo, etc. Casting hook is strictly prohibited. Plate hook material generally used A3, C3 ordinary carbon steel, or 16Mn low alloy steel.

5. The technical conditions of self-made hooks should comply with the provisions of GB 10051.1-88 ~ GB 10051.5-88 (new standard: gb10051.1-2010 ~ GB 10051.5-2010).

6. The longitudinal axis of the plate hook plate must be located in the rolling direction of the plate, and splicing of the hook plate is not allowed.

7. The plate hook should be riveted with countersunk head rivet, and the high-stress bending part in contact between the plate hook and the lifting point of the lifting object should not be connected with rivet.

8. Fully closed welding is not allowed between hook laminations, only intermittent welding is allowed.

9. The hooks that have undergone overload test should be scrapped.
