Common heat treatment methods for lifting chains and timely treatment

Common heat treatment methods for lifting chains: annealing, normalizing, quenching, tempering, carburizing, ammonia, carburizing, boronizing. Aging treatment includes artificial aging treatment and natural aging treatment.

1.Annealing, heating the workpiece to 30-50 degrees above Ac3, after holding for a certain time, slowly cooling to 500 degrees with the furnace and cooling in the space.

2. Normalizing, an operation of heating steel parts above Ac3, and taking them out of the furnace to cool in the air after heat preservation.

3.Quenching, heating the steel parts above Ac3 or Ac1, after heat preservation, it is quickly changed in the cooling liquid such as water or oil, and an unstable structure has been obtained

4. Tempering, reheating the quenched steel to a temperature below Ac1, heat treatment after cooling to room temperature.

5. Natural aging treatment, the aging phenomenon that occurs when the workpiece is stored at room temperature or natural conditions for a long time is called natural aging treatment.

6. Artificial aging treatment adopts the aging treatment process of heating the workpiece to a higher temperature and performing aging treatment in a shorter time, called artificial aging treatment.
